Cycling & water sports on the doorstep
The Weser Cycle Route starts in Hann. Münden — right outside our door. The Werratal and Fulda cycle routes begin here too; your bike is safe in our lockable bike room.
From May to October excursion boats depart from Hann. Münden, and canoe and SUP tours run on the Werra and Fulda. Hikers will find around 450 km of marked trails in the Münden Nature Park.

The Municipal Museum of Hann. Münden was founded in 1898 as the Altertümer- und Eberleinmuseum and today offers an insight into the history and culture of the region.

Sleeping Beauty Castle Sababurg on the German Fairy Tale Route is a short drive away — at the foot of the castle lies Sababurg Zoo, one of the oldest animal parks in Europe and a favourite with families. The Romanesque monastery of Bursfelde is also quickly reached.
Kassel with the UNESCO World Heritage Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe is about 30 minutes away — ideal for a day trip.
